A bulletproof vehicle designed for protecting U.S. President Donald Trump, known as a 'golf fanatic,' has appeared.
According to reports from foreign media, including the British daily Telegraph on the 28th, a black bulletproof vehicle was spotted as President Trump enjoyed golfing at his Turnberry golf resort over the weekend while visiting Scotland. This vehicle reportedly followed a cart procession carrying President Trump and his security personnel.
The vehicle appears to be a specially designed bulletproof vehicle to protect golf enthusiast President Trump. There are speculations that it is an improved model of the Polaris Ranger XP, a utility task vehicle (UTV). Foreign media analyzed that 'Golf Force One' may possess similar performance characteristics to 'The Beast,' the official vehicle for the U.S. President. The Beast is designed to withstand attacks from grenades and rocket launchers, as well as chemical weapons such as chemical warfare gas, for a certain period.
Last September, while he was a presidential candidate, President Trump nearly fell victim to an assassination attempt by a man armed with a rifle while golfing at his property in West Palm Beach, Florida. At that time, the man was aiming an AK-47 type rifle from behind the fence and bushes surrounding the golf course. A Secret Service agent, ahead of Trump by one or two holes for security, discovered the man and apprehended him.
Earlier, in July of last year, President Trump was also struck by a bullet in the upper part of his right ear during a campaign rally held in Pennsylvania.
