A shooting occurred at a casino resort in Reno, Nevada, leaving three dead and three injured.
According to the Reno Police Department, at approximately 7:25 a.m. local time on the 28th, a report was received regarding a shooting in the outdoor parking lot of the "Grand Sierra Resort and Casino" in Reno.
In response, police arrived at the scene within 2 minutes and 30 seconds, firing at the suspect to prevent further crimes.
According to police investigations, there is no connection between the shooting suspect and the victims, and the incident is presumed to be a random shooting. The motive for the crime remains undetermined.
The suspect, identified as a male, was transported to the hospital, and police have not disclosed any further information regarding the suspect's identity or condition.
Of the three injured in the incident, two are reported to be in critical condition, while the other one sustained minor injuries, was treated in the hospital, and has since been discharged.
The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, where the incident took place, is the largest casino in northern Nevada, with 2,000 rooms.
