Meanwhile, Israel and Hamas are engaged in indirect negotiations in Doha, Qatar, mediated by the United States, Qatar, and Egypt, for the fourth day since the 6th. It is reported that discussions are ongoing regarding the withdrawal of Israeli forces and related provisions for humanitarian assistance.
U.S. President Donald Trump, acting as a mediator, is expressing confidence in reaching an agreement regarding the negotiations in Gaza. President Trump said after meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, D.C., the previous day, "I don't think there are any obstacles. Everything is going very well."
