Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to have a phone currency with U.S. President Donald Trump on the 3rd (local time).
According to the RIA Novosti news agency, President Putin said he would "speak with the U.S. president today" during a visit to an exhibition in Russia.
President Trump also noted through the social media platform Truth Social that he plans to have a phone currency with President Putin at 10 a.m. that day.
It will be the first phone currency between the two leaders in about a month since the 15th of last month. At that time, they reportedly exchanged views primarily regarding the conflict between Israel and Iran.
This phone currency is expected to discuss the suspension of U.S. military aid to Ukraine. Earlier, foreign media reported that the U.S. Department of Defense had stopped supplying certain anti-aircraft missiles and precision-guided munitions to Ukraine due to a reduction in weapon stocks.
