Former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and it has been confirmed that it has already metastasized to the bones.
On the 18th (local time), the office of former President Biden disclosed this fact through a statement to the Associated Press (AP) and Reuters, noting that he and his family are currently reviewing treatment options.
According to reports, former President Biden recently exhibited abnormal symptoms during urination, prompting him to undergo tests, and he was diagnosed with prostate cancer on the 16th. The New York Times (NYT) reported, citing a spokesperson for former President Biden, that he has been diagnosed with an "aggressive form" of prostate cancer.
The NYT also described that after doctors found a small nodule in former President Biden's prostate that required further evaluation, the cancer diagnosis was made.
