Secretary Vessenet predicted this during an interview with Fox News on the 31st (local time). It is expected to be around 4 a.m. on the 3rd in Korea.

Earlier, President Trump met with reporters at the White House and said, "You might see it tomorrow night (April 1) or perhaps Wednesday (April 2)."

President Trump also said, "Whatever other countries impose on us, we will impose on them, but we will be kinder than they are," adding, "The rate will be lower than the tariffs they impose on us, and in some cases, much lower."

Some expect that the specific details of the reciprocal tariffs will be disclosed to the media on the night of the 1st, with an official announcement occurring on the 2nd.
