According to the Agence France-Presse (AFP), the collapsed apartment was the Sky Villa condominium, which partially collapsed in an overlapping manner among its 12 floors.

As a result, the 12-story apartment was reduced to six stories, and the cracked light green walls from the upper floors fell onto the debris of the lower floors. A woman's arm and hair were hanging out from the rubble.

A Red Cross official, who requested anonymity, said, "Nine people have died, and 44 have been rescued," adding, "More than 90 people could still be inside." The official also noted, "We are currently trying to gather data as we continue to receive reports of people searching for missing family members."
