Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that he would cooperate with other countries, including North Korea, to resolve the Ukraine war.

On the 28th (local time), President Putin visited the Murmansk region and stated, "We support resolving all these issues through peaceful means, but we must eliminate the root causes that led to today's situation," adding, "We must certainly ensure Russia's security from a long-term historical perspective, and we welcome any actions to resolve this issue."

He said, "Russia will work with all partners to achieve this," explaining, "There are not only the United States but also BRICS countries like China, India, Brazil, and South Africa, along with other nations, including the Democratic People's Republic of Korea with which we have agreements."

There was also mention of U.S. President Donald Trump. President Putin said, "In my opinion, the newly elected U.S. president sincerely wants to end this conflict (war)," adding, "We also suggested resolving all issues peacefully."
