A high-level meeting between the United States and Ukraine regarding a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine will again take place on the 25th (local time).
According to Reuters on the 24th, Ukraine's state broadcaster Suspilne reported that Ukrainian and U.S. delegations will meet in Saudi Arabia on the 25th as a follow-up to the U.S.-Russia talks.
Previously, the U.S.-Ukraine meeting was held on the 23rd, followed by the U.S.-Russia meeting on the 24th. The Ukrainian delegation is expected to stay one more day in Saudi Arabia for additional talks.
The United States and Russia held lengthy discussions at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, to discuss practical matters related to a 'partial ceasefire' and other issues. Both sides are expected to release a joint statement on the results of the talks on the 25th.
A White House source told Reuters, "The talks organized by the Trump administration's working team in Riyadh are going very smoothly," adding, "All parties have been working day and night, and a positive announcement is expected in the near future."
