Delta Air Lines, whose passenger plane overturned during the landing process at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada, offered $30,000 (about 43 million won) in compensation to affected passengers.
According to a report by NBC on the 20th, Delta Air Lines stated it would pay $30,000 to each of the 76 passengers on board at the time of the incident. If all passengers accept this offer, the total amount Delta Air Lines would need to pay is approximately $2.3 million (about 330 million won).
Delta Air Lines added that there are no conditions for receiving the compensation and that it does not affect the passengers' other rights.
