Former U.S. President Joe Biden has signed a contract with a major Hollywood talent agency that represents actor Lee Jung-jae.
According to foreign media outlets including BBC, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) announced on the 3rd (local time) that it had signed a contract with President Biden.
CAA noted, "Former President Biden is one of the most respected and influential voices in the U.S. both domestically and internationally, and it is a great honor to collaborate with him again."
CAA is considered the largest talent agency in the United States, representing filmmakers Steven Spielberg and Hollywood stars Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, and George Clooney.
Additionally, famous Japanese baseball player Shohei Ohtani, as well as former U.S. President Barack Obama and his wife, are also members of this agency. Korean actor Lee Jung-jae and filmmaker Bong Joon-ho are also affiliated with CAA.
Immediately, attention is focused on the activities of former President Biden after leaving office. The former president, who left the White House on the 20th of last month, has remained silent about his plans after leaving office.
At the time of his departure, he had said, "I am leaving the office, not leaving the fight," but it is known that he has been quietly residing at his home in Delaware.
Amid this, speculation arises that writing activities could be his first step. CAA previously managed the promotion for the memoir "Promise Me, Dad," published by former President Biden in 2017.
BBC reported, "CAA typically signs contracts with well-known movie stars or A-list celebrities, but it is not uncommon for them to collaborate with politicians or social movement organizations as well."
