The Ministry of SMEs and Startups said on the 14th that it held the "second Everyone's Startup Campus Tour" at the Chungnam National University Convergence Education Innovation Center in Daejeon.
The event was prepared to encourage participation by local youth, including students at Chungnam National University, and to hear from young people taking on startups, ahead of the application deadline on the 17th for the "second Everyone's Startup Project."
First Vice Minister Noh Yong-seok of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) joined the talk concert as a panelist after a preliminary chat with Kwon Gye-cheol, vice president for academic affairs at Chungnam National University, and Park Dae-hee, head of the Daejeon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, among others.
At the talk concert, students who launched startups through the first "Everyone's Startup Project," as well as young people who were not selected then but refined their business models to try again, took part as panelists and shared experiences and on-site views from their startup journeys.
First Vice Minister Noh Yong-seok of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) said, "The trials and learning of youth are a valuable asset for life," adding, "Through the Everyone's Startup Project, we will open the door to challenges to broaden the startup base, and we will support the growth ladder so that outstanding outcomes are linked to follow-up growth support systems."
