Chairman Choi Pyeong-gyu of SNT Group, marking the 47th anniversary of its founding, said the company must grow into a "global first mover" in its three core business groups—auto parts, energy and power plants, and defense.
According to SNT Group on the 11th, Choi said in the "SNT 47th anniversary address," released through the in-house network the same day, "The greatest opportunities in history have always been born in the worst crises, and after the perfect storm, a once-in-a-lifetime golden opportunity will open to leap as a first mover."
Choi urged further advancement of research and development (R&D) and technology marketing that integrate the group's core competencies in precision machinery and electronic control technologies. He also emphasized that to seize opportunities, "always think about change and challenge, act immediately, and run diligently with a humble and considerate attitude."
Choi asked, "Based on the perseverance and diligence of sujeok-cheonseok (water drops piercing stone), which says that incessant drops of water can bore through massive rock, let us create a strongly designed SNT."
