Genesis will unveil the GV90, its extra-large flagship electrified sport utility vehicle (SUV), to Korean customers for the first time.
Genesis said it will run a "GV90 special exhibition" at Genesis Suji in Yongin, Gyeonggi, from the 11th to the 27th. The exhibition will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will be closed on Chuseok day.
The GV90 is Genesis' first extra-large flagship electrified SUV developed based on the "Neolun Concept" unveiled in 2024. It was revealed worldwide in San Francisco in August.
It applies a design inspired by Korea's moon jar and features the "Neolun Arch Gate," an independent opening coach door with a hidden B-pillar where the front and rear doors open facing each other without a body B-pillar, as well as a roof airbag. Genesis said it applied the Neolun Arch Gate and the roof airbag for the first time in the world.
The exhibition uses all floors of Genesis Suji to showcase a total of seven vehicles and related experiential content, including one GV90 Neolun First Edition, three GV90 Neolun models, and three GV90s.
On the first floor, the top limited edition, the "GV90 Neolun First Edition," is on display. The exhibit vehicle features a two-tone exterior combining Beak Black and Sonoran Navy and 24-inch diamond-cut dish-type forged wheels. Inside, it uses Majestic Purple and Regal Navy colors and adds First Edition–exclusive logos to the Crystal Sphere integrated controller, seat headrests, and door steps.
On the second floor, visitors can experience the GV90's design, materials, and advanced technology. Displays include the design development process inspired by the moon jar, the Wing Face MLA headlamps that realize the two-line design, interior colors and materials, and more. It also introduces technology based on the flagship-only "eMP platform," the roof airbag, a popup center OLED cinematic display, and the next-generation infotainment platform "Phleos Connect."
Visitors can also experience in-vehicle sound using the Bang & Olufsen Premier 3D sound system and Dolby Atmos.
On the third floor, the GV90 Neolun and the "Neolun Arch Gate" are on display. The Neolun Arch Gate is a structure where the front and rear doors open facing each other without a B-pillar. By applying newly developed dual-motion hinges, the design moves the rear door outward and then rotates it, allowing the front and rear doors to open and close independently.
Here, visitors can watch a documentary on the development of the Neolun Arch Gate and examine the body structure without a B-pillar. It also displays the GV90 Neolun's exterior and interior materials and VIP customer–exclusive features. The fourth floor operates as a "GV90 lounge" for visitors and as a Genesis Collection exhibition space.
