Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) said on the 7th it has appointed Kim Nam-jae, former vice president of Kyungnong and Chobi, as a new standing director.
New standing director Kim Nam-jae was born in 1973 and graduated from Muntae High School and the Department of Business Administration at Sogang University. After that, Kim served as a partner at Samil PwC, a director at Smilegate Investment, and a vice president at Kyungnong and Chobi.
As a certified public accountant, Kim built expertise at an accounting firm, then gained broad experience in accounting, finance, and investment at a venture capital firm and on the ground at corporations. In particular, Kim served as chief financial officer (CFO) at multiple corporations, building experience in corporate financial management and overall management.
Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) expects that, in addition to expertise in accounting, finance, and investment, the new standing director Kim will contribute to the innovative growth of small and medium-sized venture corporations and the revitalization of technology finance, based on management experience accumulated at various corporations.
The term of the new standing director Kim is two years, from Sept. 7 to Sept. 6, 2028.
