Healthcare robots corporations Bodyfriend won two innovation awards at IFA 2026 held in Berlin, Germany.
Bodyfriend said on the 7th that the 733 AI Pro and Medical Vivaldi each won an IFA 2026 Innovation Award. The 733 AI Pro won in the IFA Next & Emerging Tech institutional sector, and the Medical Vivaldi won in the Beauty Tech & Wellbeing institutional sector.
The 733 AI Pro is a wearable AI healthcare robot that combines Bodyfriend's Robotics technology with contactless biosignal sensing and Generative AI Massage certified by the Korea Standards Association's AI+.
Using remote photoplethysmography (rPPG), it detects minute skin color changes to analyze health indicators such as heart rate patterns, fatigue, stress, resilience, and blood pressure changes, and, together with the user's spoken intent, generates and runs a customized massage program in real time. Its Moving Robot Technology for full-body free actuation and Thinking AI Technology through remote biosignal detection and natural language analysis were highly rated for innovation.
Medical Vivaldi is a home medical massage sofa for users who need perineal care. With PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) technology applied inside the seat, it noninvasively stimulates the pelvic floor muscles and related neuromuscular structures through clothing to effectively manage the perineal area. With robust massage functions and a sofa-style design that provides comfortable seating, it lowers the psychological barrier to treatment. Medical Vivaldi is scheduled to be launched in Korea as a medical device within the year after certification by the Ministery of Food and Drug Safety.
