Kia(000270) on the 31st released teaser images and a video of the new large electrified purpose-built vehicle (PBV) "the Kia PV7" through its official YouTube channel and other outlets.
The PV7 is a large PBV model developed on Kia's PBV-dedicated electric vehicle platform "E-GMP.S." The teaser images and video show the PV7's multipurpose utility spanning work, travel, and leisure, along with a side view in a "one-box" form.
A Kia official said, "The PV7 will provide a new mobility experience that responds to customers' diverse purposes, from professional worksites to everyday travel and leisure activities, by offering a spacious and flexible interior."
Kia plans to unveil the PV7 for the first time in the world at IAA Transportation 2026, the world's largest commercial vehicle trade show, to be held in Hanover, Germany, from the 14th to the 20th of next month. It will also present its PBV strategy and vision, and exhibit various PV5 derivatives to showcase the PBV lineup's product appeal and scalability.
