Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises held an opening ceremony for the "K-goods fair" at "ASD Market Week 2026" in Las Vegas on the 25th (local time) and moved to support Korean small and medium-sized corporations in entering the North American market.
According to KBIZ on the 26th, more than 140 participants—including corporations taking part in the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' export consortium program, small merchants enrolled in the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid, Home&Shopping partner companies, and regional small and medium-sized corporations—operated more than 150 booths.
The opening ceremony was attended by Hwang Byung-gu, president of the Korean American Chamber of Commerce in the U.S., a co-hosting organization, Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley, and Carolyn Sproud, senior executive vice president of FORGE.
The state of Nevada and the city of Las Vegas presented letters of appreciation to KBIZ Chairman Kim Ki-moon and President Hwang Byung-gu for their contributions to business cooperation between Korea and the United States.
KBIZ Chairman Kim Ki-moon said, "In an era of low birthrates and an aging population, overseas expansion for small and medium-sized corporations is essential," and added, "I hope this event becomes an export platform that opens a new breakthrough for small and medium-sized corporations in the North and Central American market."
