The Korea Venture Business Association said on the 26th that it selected Sestec, Youil Biotech, and Bionexus as the "Excellent Venture of the Month" for the fourth round in 2026, an award that discovers corporations with technological competitiveness and growth potential.
The Excellent Venture of the Month is a program that selects corporations with standout technology and business scalability among certified ventures. The selection areas are technology-centered deep tech, scale-up that evaluates business growth potential, and value-up that focuses on attracting investment and boosting corporate value.
Sestec, selected in the deep tech institutional sector, is a corporation that develops robots for semiconductor and display processes, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and logistics automation systems. For 27 years, it has handled the full scope of robot engineering, from control software development to equipment maintenance. It also jointly developed with client corporations a system that diagnoses and calibrates robot status in real time.
In the display field, it localized vacuum robots and atmospheric robots used in organic light-emitting diode (OLED) manufacturing processes and provides equipment maintenance and disassembly, inspection, and overhaul services.
Youil Biotech in the scale-up institutional sector develops and produces bio materials based on the microbial production-process platform "SN-TECH." It expanded its business with the functional cosmetics "EUNEA" and the wellness product "EU:DAY." It obtained green technology certification and new marine and fisheries technology (NET) certification. It is expanding its functional bio materials business by pursuing research and development in parallel with product commercialization.
Bionexus, selected in the value-up institutional sector, is a platform corporation for AI scientist agents that analyzes bio data to support new drug target discovery, research hypothesis development, and experiment design.
Its core solution "Nexus Co-Scientist" uses multiple AI agents to integrate and analyze papers and omics data and automates hypothesis generation, data analysis, and experiment design. Since its founding, it has carried out more than 30 projects and conducted joint research with 15 institutions. Recently, it raised a seed investment from venture capital to advance the platform and push into overseas markets.
