The Ministry of SMEs and Startups said on the 26th that it will hold the "Comprehensive counseling session to overcome management crises for small business owners" in 14 regions nationwide through the end of Oct., starting in Daejeon and Sejong.
The sessions are designed so small business owners can meet experts in each field to resolve management concerns such as funding, debt, closure, and restarting. Small business owners in each region can participate for free. One-on-one, tailored consultations with experts will be offered on policy funds (loan), credit guarantees, debt adjustment, business closure, job and re-startup support, and labor and marketing consulting.
A "management diagnosis report" analyzing commercial district conditions and sales trends will also be provided free. The purpose is to help confirm the current situation at business sites with concrete data and set future management directions.
The sessions will run through the end of Oct. in major cities and provinces nationwide, starting on the 28th in Daejeon and Sejong and continuing in Seoul and Gyeonggi, as well as Incheon, Gangwon, South Chungcheong, North Chungcheong, North Jeolla, Gwangju and South Jeolla, Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang, Daegu, North Gyeongsang, and Jeju. Detailed schedules and venues by region will be announced on the Small Enterprise & Market Service (SEMAS) website as soon as they are confirmed.
Park Sang-yong, small business management stabilization support officer at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS), said, "We strengthened on-site access points so there are no small business owners who miss out on benefits because they don't know about government support programs or who worry alone," and added, "We hope this counseling session will be a practical pillar that helps them get back on their feet beyond the management crisis."
