CJ ENM(035760)'s K-pop content platform Mnet Plus saw an increase in users on the back of "KCON LA 2026."
On the 24th, according to CJ ENM, after KCON LA 2026, the number of views for related content on Mnet Plus roughly doubled from last year, and digital queue usage on-site reached about 40,000 over three days.
Mnet Plus streamed the main stages of KCON LA 2026 to more than 250 regions worldwide. It also offered tie-in content showing artists offstage, such as the original variety shows "Introducing KCON Friends" and "Wide K-pop News (WIDE K-POP NEWS)." It broadened its services so fans who could not visit the venue could enjoy the performances and behind-the-scenes stories.
An analysis of Mnet Plus usage indicators during the event showed that views of related paid and free content increased by about twofold year over year. Compared with the platform's overall user average, the share of teen users was about 1.9 times higher, and those in their 40s and older were about three times higher. Users connected from multiple regions, including the United States, Korea, China, Japan, and Indonesia, and the female share was tallied at about 85%.
Platform use continued offline as well. Through Mnet Plus, the number of digital queue uses for "KCON LA 2026" reached about 40,000 during the event.
A Mnet Plus official said, "Through this 'KCON LA 2026,' we were able to see global fans enjoy a variety of content online while naturally using Mnet Plus services on-site offline," adding, "We will continue to expand services and content that allow fans to experience K-pop in a multidimensional way, in line with how they consume content."
