The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will identify and reward corporations that have exemplary implemented the system linking supply prices to costs.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) said on the 23rd that it will recruit candidates for the "2026 outstanding corporations in supply price indexation" from the 24th to Oct. 8.
The award was prepared to encourage corporations that shared the burden from rising materials and supplies and energy expense between contracting corporations and subcontracting corporations, and that proactively signed and implemented supply price indexation agreements.
Eligible candidates are corporations that signed supply price indexation agreements in contracting–subcontracting transactions under the Win–Win Cooperation Act and contributed to expanding the system. Key evaluation items include the ratio of indexation contracts signed, the number of subcontracting corporations, and performance in adjusting supply prices.
In particular, corporations that actively practiced win–win cooperation—such as proactively raising subcontractors' supply prices or making early payments—amid surging raw material prices due to the Middle East war will receive preference in the screening.
The scale of the award is 10 Minister of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) commendations. Selected corporations will receive incentives such as exemptions from regular fact-finding and ex officio investigations on subcontracting–contracting transactions, additional points in the performance evaluation for fair-trade agreements, and reductions in demerit points and fines under the Win–Win Cooperation Act.
Applications will be accepted by email from the 24th to Oct. 8 by completing the award application and record-of-merit forms. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) will finalize candidates after document review and deliberation by the merit review committee, and will present commendations at the "2026 co-prosperity week commemorative ceremony" to be held in November.
