Kyungdong Navien said on the 21st that three of its products won finalist honors at the U.S. 2026 IDEA Design Awards.
The International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), organized by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), is one of the world's three major design awards, evaluating design innovation, user experience, and social contribution. Kyungdong Navien won with its dehumidifying ventilation air purifier, Navien Bathcare, and the NFB-F floor-standing boiler.
The Navien dehumidifying ventilation air purifier is an indoor air quality management product that integrates dehumidification, ventilation, and air purification. It is designed to manage humidity and air quality without temperature fluctuations. It features a rectangular exterior and subdued colors. The front cover and side handles can be opened and closed without tools, and the air intake and exhaust ducts are arranged for airflow and installation convenience.
Navien Bathcare manages bathroom humidity, cold drafts, and odors through dehumidifying, warm-air, drying, and exhaust functions. Its exterior centers on straight lines and rectangles. A magnetic front panel allows separation without additional tools. The indicator light appears only during operation, and the logo is engraved.
The NFB-F floor-standing boiler was developed with the North American residential environment in mind, where boilers are installed in tight spaces such as basements or equipment rooms. The product's size and height were reduced to improve ease of installation and replacement. The front panel is tilted upward so users can check status and operate it without bending deeply. Black is used on the lower area, where dirt tends to accumulate, and white on the main body.
Kyungdong Navien said, "This IDEA Design Awards recognition reflects our focus not only on product functionality but also on the convenience and satisfaction customers feel in real-life use."
