Mercedes-Benz Korea said on the 18th it is officially launching the facelifted version of its flagship full-size sedan, the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, along with the Maybach models, and will begin customer deliveries.
Mercedes-Benz Korea began preorders for the models on May 18 and secured more than 2,500 preorders in about three months.
The new S-Class newly developed or improved more than 50% of its automotive components. It significantly strengthened design and comfort, the digital experience, and driving and safety technologies across the board.
The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class also raised luxury and comfort with extensive updates and broadened the range of personalization options.
Both models feature the latest MBUX based on MB.OS (Mercedes-Benz Operating System), the brand's new in-car operating system.
Mercedes-Benz Korea also applied the latest driver assistance system, MB.Drive Assist. In addition, tailored for Korean customers, it supports Tmap Auto, LG Uplus Live TV Plus, Genie Music, and Millie's library audiobooks.
The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class comes in a total of six trims: four long-wheelbase models and two standard-wheelbase models. Prices range from 154 million won to 270 million won.
The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class launches in three versions: ▲ Maybach S 580 ▲ Maybach S 580 MANUFAKTUR ▲ Maybach S 680. Prices range from 317 million won to 407 million won.
To mark the launch of the new S-Class and the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, Mercedes-Benz Korea will also hold a pop-up event showcasing the two models at the Hyundai Department Store Pangyo branch from the 21st to the 29th of this month.
