Low-cost carrier (LCC) Air Premia said it will resume service on the Incheon–Ho Chi Minh City route starting Nov. 5. It comes about 3 years and 2 months after service ended in Sep. 2023.
The Incheon–Ho Chi Minh City route will operate five times a week (Mon., Wed., Thu., Sat., Sun.). Flights depart Incheon International Airport at 6:40 p.m. and arrive at Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 11 p.m. (local time). The return flights depart locally at 12:30 a.m. on Mon., Tue., Thu., Fri., and Sun., arriving at Incheon International Airport at 7:40 a.m.
The schedule is subject to government approval and may change, so travelers must check flight details before departure.
Air Premia plans to use the resumption to expand transfer demand for North American routes via Incheon while strengthening both passenger and cargo competitiveness by leveraging the strong air cargo market in Ho Chi Minh City.
To that end, the airline will deploy the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the Incheon–Ho Chi Minh City route. The aircraft features wide premium seats that offer more space than standard economy and comfortable standard economy seats. In-flight meals and checked baggage services are also provided.
Tickets will be available on the Air Premia website starting at 10 a.m. on the 10th. To mark the resumption of the Ho Chi Minh City route, Air Premia will offer discounts of up to 15% across all classes through the 17th. Discounted travel is valid from the launch date through Mar. 27 next year.
