GS Caltex said on the 6th that it was selected for the first time as the No. 1 company in the gas station sector in the National Brand Competitiveness Index (NBCI) survey led by the Korea Productivity Center.
The NBCI survey comprehensively evaluates brand awareness and image, relationship-building power, and loyalty to assess market competitiveness.
GS Caltex said it ranked first in the industry in this survey for providing a differentiated fueling experience based on customer-centric digital services and for being recognized for its efforts to actively respond to changing customer needs.
In particular, strengthening customer convenience and benefits, which boosted brand trust and preference, received positive marks. GS Caltex has promoted digital transformation and the expansion of partnerships with external platforms centered on Energy Plus, a mobile platform with more than 2.5 million members.
Kim Chang-su, executive vice president of GS Caltex's Mobility & Marketing Division, said, "We will expand innovative services that connect all aspects of customers' movement and energy use around the Energy Plus app and provide a differentiated brand experience that customers can feel."
