Hyundai Motor Group's premium brand Genesis will team up with Korean Air Lines(003490) to run a promotion that adds airline miles for customers who buy electric vehicles.
Genesis said on the 4th that from on the 1st through Dec. 31 it will award 10,000 Korean Air Lines miles to individual and sole proprietor customers who sign and take delivery of the Electrified G80, Electrified GV70, GV60, or GV60 Magma. Miles are automatically credited in the month after the delivery date.
A prize event will also be held for customers who apply to earn miles. Round-trip tickets from Incheon to Phuket (two each) and from Incheon to Guam (two each) will be offered by drawing, and winners will be notified individually in February next year.
Beyond this event, Genesis is operating premium services for customers using airports. At Gimpo Airport, it offers free parking and dedicated secure parking, plus a consumables replacement service that lets customers choose one of engine oil, air conditioner filter, or wiper blades.
At Incheon Airport, customers can use an airport shuttle, vehicle cleaning, and a safety inspection service. However, the free benefits for consumables replacement and home-to-home service are limited to customers who have those benefits.
A Genesis official said, "We will continue to roll out customer programs that can strengthen Genesis' unique premium brand experience."
