Global agricultural machinery specialist TYM Co. said on the 3rd that it held the "2026 TYM Co. roadshow" on the 28th–29th of the last month in Tabuk, Kalinga, the Philippines.
Held for the third consecutive year, the event drew more than 1,200 participants, including the Philippines Department of Agriculture (DA), the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech), the Kalinga State Governments, the City of Tabuk and its affiliated agencies, farmers' associations, agricultural machinery cooperatives, and TYM Co.'s local official partner FITCOREA, as well as local farmers and dealers.
At the event, TYM Co. conducted field demonstrations of the 5825R and 6100R tractors optimized for the Philippine agricultural environment and shared directions for technological advancement with local agricultural officials through a seminar on the latest agricultural technologies. It also created a platform for shared growth by supporting overseas market expansion for domestic small and midsize agricultural machinery manufacturers and promoting the competitiveness of K-agricultural machinery.
Through Philippine government tenders in 2024–2025, TYM Co. supplied a total of 1,870 tractors (worth about 35 billion won), and at this roadshow it unveiled the 100-horsepower T6100R. With this, the company plans to ramp up its push into the high-horsepower tractor market, where demand is strong for large-scale farm work such as corn cultivation and livestock operations.
TYM Co. is also focusing on training local technical personnel. In Feb., it invited 10 core technical staff from PHilMech to Korea for advanced training covering product engineering, production processes, and maintenance and service systems. At this roadshow, it shared the training results and discussed with government official the expansion of retraining, dispatch of instructors, and support for teaching materials.
TYM Co. plans to contribute to building a sustainable operational foundation for agricultural mechanization in the Philippines by strengthening technical workforce development, parts and service networks, and on-site technical support.
