Eastar Jet Co. said on the 3rd it will hold an open recruitment for cabin crew in line with aircraft additions and route expansion.
The process will proceed in the order of ▲ document screening ▲ situational response interview ▲ physical fitness test ▲ executive interview ▲ hiring medical exam, and the number of recruits will be around 30.
In the situational response interview, applicants will be evaluated on their response methods and flexible thinking by being presented with hypothetical scenarios.
In the physical fitness test, basic fitness required for in-flight emergencies will be checked through long-distance running, back muscle strength measurement, and decibel measurement, among other items.
In hiring, applicants who majored in nursing or hold related certifications can receive extra points. Applicants with strong foreign language skills, such as Japanese and Chinese, are also preferred.
Applications can be submitted on the Eastar Jet Co. recruitment site from 10 a.m. today through the 29th. Final successful candidates will join as interns in Oct.
An Eastar Jet Co. official said, "We plan to select talent suited to the crew's core role as in-flight safety personnel," adding, "If you score high in each stage, we are not imposing an age limit."
