E1(017940) said on Aug. 2 that it froze its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) supply prices for August.
E1 set the August price of propane for household and commercial use at 1,483.17 won per kg, and for industrial use at 1,489.77 won. This is the same level as last month.
Butane was set at 1,719.54 won per kg. The butane supply price was cut by 68.51 won per kg (including 10% value-added taxes) starting on the 30th of last month in line with the government's exemption of the sales surcharge (62.283 won per kg).
E1 said, "Although there remains an unreflected portion that could not be reflected in domestic prices after the United States-Iran war, we froze domestic LPG supply prices for August in response to the government's price stabilization policy and in consideration of easing the burden on consumers."
