SNT Dynamics(003570) disclosed on the 31st that, based on consolidation financial statements, it was tentatively tallied to have posted second-quarter revenue of 196.3 billion won and operating profit of 17.1 billion won.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system, SNT Dynamics' second-quarter revenue rose 5.2% from a year earlier, while operating profit fell 41.9%. Net profit came to 13.1 billion won, down 53.2% from a year earlier.
SNT Dynamics' first-half revenue was 376.2 billion won, up 11.8% from a year earlier, while operating profit was 38.4 billion won, down 18.6%.
SNT Dynamics said operating profit declined due to reasons including higher raw material costs from the strong dollar, the expiration of contracts for high-margin products, and increased development expenses following expanded research and development (R&D) investment.
