DN Solutions, a leading machine tool corporations, introduced ship part-specific machining equipment and automation solutions to Korea's shipbuilding industry.
DN Solutions said on the 28th that it held "Shipbuilding Tech Day," a shipbuilding industry technology seminar, at the Rivera Convention in Changwon, South Gyeongsang, on the 22nd. About 30 corporations in the shipbuilding machining field attended the event.
DN Solutions also holds regular technical seminars for major machine tool demand industries such as semiconductors, aerospace, and automobiles.
After an external expert released an outlook for the global shipbuilding, shipping, and energy markets, DN Solutions engineers explained machining demand and application cases for key ship components.
DN Solutions introduced the DCM, a double-column machining center for large components such as propellers and engine blocks; the PUMA 800, a horizontal turning center for large shaft machining; and the NHP/NHM, horizontal machining centers for rudder machining. It also showcased the SMX/Lynx for fitting and valve machining, as well as automation solutions and equipment maintenance and repair services.
