Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI)(047810) Industries (KAI) said on the 21st that it took part in the "Farnborough International Airshow 2026," held in the United Kingdom from the 20th to the 24th (local time).
The Farnborough Airshow marks its 40th edition this year. As one of the world's major airshows, about 1,500 corporations from 41 countries participated this year.
KAI focused on future aviation systems at this airshow. At the front of its booth, it displayed the KF-21 Korea Fighter and an unmanned combat aircraft, a multipurpose unmanned aircraft, and an ultra-small SAR (synthetic aperture radar) communications satellite.
Through a manned-unmanned teaming system linked even to satellites, it introduced an AI-based next-generation follow-on support system and aimed to present a hyperconnected solution that will be key on future battlefields.
In particular, it also exhibited the TF-50, aimed at the British Royal Air Force trainer replacement program, and the FA-50 light attack aircraft for expanding into the European market.
In the rotorcraft sector, it presented concepts for future operations by introducing an amphibious assault helicopter, a light armed helicopter, and a next-generation medium-lift helicopter.
KAI plans to carry out export marketing during the airshow targeting senior military officials from countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, as well as executives of global partner companies.
It also plans to highlight NATO interoperability and delivery competitiveness of domestically produced aircraft, while strengthening strategic partnerships with major partners including GE, Safran, and Martin-Baker.
