Mercedes-Benz Korea said on the 21st that the domestic number of pre-contracts for the brand's representative midsize sport utility vehicle (SUV) GLC's first all-electric model, "the all-new Mercedes-Benz Electric GLC," surpassed 1,000 as of the 20th. It has been about 12 days since pre-contracts began on the 9th.
The all-new Electric GLC is the first vehicle to apply Mercedes-Benz's dedicated electric-vehicle architecture, MB.EA (Mercedes-Benz Electric Architecture). It combines the GLC's unique identity with an electric drive system and intelligent, intuitive software.
The lineup available for domestic pre-contracts comprises two Launch Edition models: ▲ GLC 300 4MATIC AMG Line Electric ▲ GLC 300 4MATIC AMG Line+ Electric. Customer deliveries begin in the fourth quarter this year, and prices are 90 million won and 94.8 million won, respectively. Mercedes-Benz Korea also plans to launch the GLC 400 4MATIC Electric in the first half of next year.
Pre-contracts can be made by visiting any of the 65 authorized Mercedes-Benz showrooms nationwide, and customers can request vehicle consultations via the pre-reservation page on the Mercedes-Benz Korea official website.
