SNT Energy will supply air coolers to a large liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Canada. The contract is worth about 31.9 billion won. Air coolers are devices installed in petrochemical plants, refineries, power plants, and other industrial plants.
SNT Energy disclosed on the 21st that it signed a contract to supply air coolers with the joint venture "JGC Fluor BC LNG II," formed for the construction of a Canada LNG plant. The counterparty, "JGC Fluor BC LNG II," is a joint venture composed of Japan's JGC and the United States' Fluor.
The contract amount is $21.5 million. Applying the initially posted base exchange rate on the disclosure date of 1,482 won per dollar, that is about 31.9 billion won. It amounts to 5.26% of last year's consolidation sales of 606.1 billion won.
The contract period runs from this day to Nov. 17, 2027. Revenue is expected to be recognized this year and next year according to the production progress rate.
