The Ministry of SMEs and Startups said on the 21st it will hold the "Founders Circle," where veteran entrepreneurs share startup concerns with participants in the "Startup for All Project," in three regions: Seoul, Daejeon, and Busan.
This Founders Circle is a place for Startup for All challengers to share difficulties they face during the startup process with senior and peer entrepreneurs. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) plans to build a "Startup for All community" for communication and exchange among members of the startup ecosystem, starting with the Founders Circle.
Senior entrepreneurs leading businesses in various fields, including Seoul Robotics, Spoonlabs, and Toss Lab, will take part in this "Founders Circle."
The event will feature a first-session panel talk and a second-session roundtable to foster interaction among participants. In the first session, veteran entrepreneurs will share everything from what led them to decide to start a business to how they expanded and how they overcame crises. In the second session, one entrepreneur and about 20 participants will form a group for a small-scale conversation to freely exchange concerns about the startup process.
No Yong-seok, first vice minister at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS), said, "This Founders Circle is a first step toward forming deep bonds between senior and junior entrepreneurs," and added, "Starting with this, we will build a 'Startup for All community' where entrepreneurs communicate and collaborate freely, creating an ecosystem where starting a business is a collective challenge, not a solitary one."
