The Ministry of SMEs and Startups held an on-site roundtable on the 15th at the Seoul Center for Creative Economy & Innovation in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, with the Seoul-area operating and mentoring institutions for "Startup for All" and the Round 1 selectees.
This roundtable was part of the nationwide "Startup for All" tour roundtables that have been traveling through 17 cities and provinces since June, and was prepared to hear from participants in the capital region following the Chungcheong-area roundtable on the 8th.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) will review the project progress of the operating and mentoring institutions by region and gather opinions and difficulties from the Round 1 selectees to identify and improve issues that have surfaced during implementation.
No Yong-seok, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) first vice minister, said, "We will fully listen to voices from the field today and actively reflect what needs improvement to further develop 'Startup for All' into a more refined program."
The Vice Minister also said, "Being selected in Round 1 is not the end but a new start for bigger growth," adding, "The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) will stand firmly with the operating institutions and mentors to support you through to the end so your ideas can grow into competitive startups."
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) will continue to visit operating and mentoring institutions and selectees across the 17 cities and provinces to gather on-the-ground feedback by region and, based on that, develop "Startup for All" into a startup support platform that the public trusts and that backs entrepreneurs' challenges.
Meanwhile, the Startup for All program plans to select the final winner by the end of the year after regional and area auditions and a national audition for the first-round passers.
