Hyundai Motor(005380) launched the model-year change of The All-New Nexo, the "2027 Nexo," on the 14th. It features strengthened value in the base trim and a wider range of optional features.
Hyundai Motor will provide a 100W USB charging cable as standard starting with "Modern," the base trim of the new Nexo, and will apply a roof rack and synthetic leather seats. These were previously standard features of the Exclusive Special trim.
In addition, buyers can choose ▲ Built-in Cam 2 Plus ▲ augmented reality navigation ▲ Hyundai SmartSense, which includes forward collision-avoidance assist (including oncoming traffic while crossing or overtaking, side approaching vehicle, and evasive steering assist) and Highway Driving Assist 2 ▲ and Comfort Plus (including a power driver's seat).
In the top Prestige trim, a rear-seat smart infotainment system is available as an option. With a 14.6-inch touchscreen, users can enjoy a variety of streaming services including YouTube, Netflix, and children's programs.
After tax benefits, the new Nexo is priced at ▲ Modern 76.47 million won ▲ Exclusive 79.37 million won ▲ Prestige 83.79 million won. If buyers receive both the 22.5 million won government subsidies and 7 million–17 million won local subsidies, the purchase price is expected to start at about 36.97 million won.
Along with this, Hyundai Motor will also offer programs to reduce Nexo customers' purchase burden, including "Nexo Burden Down," a balloon installment plan characterized by low monthly payments, and a "hydrogen charging fee support benefit" that provides hydrogen charging credits.
A Hyundai Motor official said, "The 2027 Nexo has enhanced the value of its base trim, further widening customer choice."
