The Financial Supervisory Service said on the 14th that it requested the submission of a revised registration statement regarding EcoPro BM(247540)'s paid-in capital increase decision worth 1.2 trillion won. Following the FSS's request to submit a revised registration statement, the securities registration statement for the paid-in capital increase that EcoPro BM filed on the 30th was suspended.
The FSS said it demanded a correction to EcoPro BM's securities registration statement due to reasons including insufficient disclosure of material information. If EcoPro BM does not submit a revised registration statement within three months after being asked to do so, the securities registration statement will be deemed withdrawn.
EcoPro BM on the 30th resolved to carry out a paid-in capital increase by allotting shares to existing shareholders and then offering forfeited shares to the public to raise 1,199,999,988,000 won. EcoPro BM said it would use 150 billion won for facilities, 134,999,988,000 won for operations, and 915 billion won for acquiring other companies' securities.
EcoPro Group plans to invest 1.5 trillion won as a major shareholder in the BNSI smelter construction project under way in Sulawesi, Indonesia.
