Audi Korea said on the 9th that it officially launched the mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) Q5 and the coupe-style Q5 Sportback. It said the models feature improved product value by expanding driver-assistance and convenience features that are popular with customers.
The Q5 and Q5 Sportback are built on the newly developed platform (PPC) for internal-combustion and plug-in hybrid models. In particular, adaptive air suspension is standard across the S line trims. Audi said the ride height changes depending on road conditions and drive mode, providing a stable ride and precise handling performance.
All S line trims come standard with Adaptive Cruise Assist Plus. It supports lane-centering and lane-change assist functions, reducing driver burden on highways and long-distance drives and providing a safe driving environment.
The Q5 40 TDI quattro delivers a maximum output of 204 horsepower and peak torque of 40.789 kg·m based on a 2.0 TDI engine. The model is equipped with the Mild Hybrid Plus (MHEV Plus) system, applied for the first time to an Audi diesel model. It features improved efficiency compared with the conventional hybrid system.
The Q5 40 TFSI quattro is equipped with a 2.0 TFSI engine. It delivers a maximum output of 204 horsepower and peak torque of 34.67 kg·m. The Q5 45 TFSI quattro has a maximum output of 271.9 horsepower and peak torque of 40.79 kg·m.
The Q5 is priced from 69.9 million won, and the Q5 Sportback is priced from 72.9 million won.
