The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises and the Small Business Love Sharing Foundation said on the 8th that they held the opening ceremony for the "2026 SME Sharing Festa" at KBIZ in Yeouido, Seoul.
The Sharing Festa, held for two days from the 8th to the 9th, is an event where 150,000 items' worth of SME products—such as household goods, children's books, school supplies, and accessories—donated collectively by the SME community are sold to citizens at affordable, reasonable prices, with the revenue used to support the underprivileged.
At the opening ceremony, plaques of appreciation were presented to major donors, and a sponsorship agreement ceremony with welfare facilities was held to express gratitude to SME people leading the spirit of sharing and to create a venue for continuous, organic solidarity and mutually beneficial sponsorship.
During the event, KBIZ executives, staff, and volunteers took part in making food kits for veterans who devoted themselves to national defense and veterans' affairs, adding meaning. As sponsors, Naver Pay offered an additional 5,000 points for payments of 30,000 won or more made via Naver Pay, and Home & Shopping donated broadcast products with its partner sellers, helping spread the culture of sharing among SMEs.
In addition, a program was arranged to auction cherished items from Tak Jae-hoon, So Yu-mi, and Kim Na-hee, models for the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid, as well as gear from mountaineer Capt. Um Hong-gil and autographed CDs from famous celebrities.
KBIZ Chairman Kim Ki-moon said, "I would like to express my gratitude once again to the SME leaders who took part in donating to this Festa," adding, "We will do our best to publicize the good deeds of donating SMEs and help a warm culture of sharing spread even further."
