Kia said on the 2nd that it released the model-year update of its flagship midsize sedan, the "K5," called "The 2027 K5."
Kia applied a new 100W USB Type-C port and cable as standard on all trims of the 2027 K5.
On the top trim, Signature (excluding the 2.0 LPG standard model and the model for people with disabilities), it added rear height-adjustable head restraints and a center armrest, and on the Noblesse trim, it made the Smart Power Trunk standard.
On the popular Best Selection trim, a 12.3-inch Supervision cluster and a panoramic curved display are standard. The monitoring package, composed of ▲ Remote Smart Parking Assist ▲ Surround View Monitor ▲ Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, is offered as an option.
On the Prestige trim, ▲ Highway Driving Assist ▲ Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control ▲ Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (oncoming vehicles at intersections and straight ahead), among others, are standard (excluding the 2.0 LPG rental car model) to provide a safe and convenient driving experience.
Reflecting the 5% special consumption tax and eco-friendly vehicle tax benefits, prices for The 2027 K5 are ▲ 2.0 gasoline 27.63 million–35.58 million won ▲ 1.6 gasoline turbo 29.73 million–36.37 million won ▲ 2.0 hybrid 33.44 million–39.64 million won ▲ 2.0 LPG 29.61 million–35.48 million won ▲ 2.0 LPG rental car 25.17 million–27.84 million won ▲ 2.0 LPG model exclusively for people with disabilities (left-hand and left-foot disability standard) 27.99 million–33.56 million won.
A Kia official said, "The 2027 K5 is characterized by strengthened overall product competitiveness by making core features with high customer preference standard," and added, "We will continue to work in various ways so it can be an even more competitive choice for customers who prefer sedans."
