Hyundai Mobis' purchase payments to partners over the past three years totaled about 157 trillion won, according to the tally. It also invested more than 5 trillion won in research and development (R&D) since 2023.
Hyundai Mobis said on the 29th that it published Sustainability Report 2026 containing these details. Since 2010, Hyundai Mobis has published the report to share environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance with key stakeholders.
In this report, Hyundai Mobis presented measures to strengthen supply chain competitiveness based on co-prosperity with partners as a key achievement. Despite internal and external uncertainties such as a slowdown in electric vehicle demand, Hyundai Mobis has worked to enhance the sustainability of its supply chain.
Hyundai Mobis is advancing its management system for greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 3) across the entire supply chain, including secondary and tertiary partners. It plans to bolster its ability to respond to global regulations through ESG assessments for partners, tailored consulting and support for carbon-reduction facilities.
It is also expanding R&D. Since 2023, Hyundai Mobis has invested a cumulative 5 trillion won or more in R&D and surpassed 10,000 cumulative patents. In addition, as it strengthened responsible management by introducing a system to appoint outside directors recommended by shareholders, last year's total shareholder return (TSR) reached 32.8%, exceeding the target.
In eco-friendly management, it secured a 29% share of renewable energy as of 2025. Hyundai Mobis is implementing an RE100 roadmap with targets of 65% by 2030 and 100% by 2040.
A Hyundai Mobis official said, "Based on our competitive edge in core technologies for future mobility, we will continue steady growth while practicing carbon neutrality and co-prosperity management across the value chain to build a sustainable future."
