Bentley Motors Korea said on the 19th it will officially launch the New Continental GT S and the New Continental GTC (convertible) S.
The New Continental GT S and GTC S are fourth-generation models. Bentley Motors Korea said they are the fastest and most powerful Bentleys ever and were designed based on the same driver-centric philosophy as the legendary limited-edition performance model "Supersports."
The New Continental GT and GTC S are equipped with a "high-performance hybrid" powertrain. It delivers a system maximum output of 680 horsepower and a system peak torque of 94.8 kg.m. That is 130 horsepower higher than the previous-generation model. It accelerates from a standstill to 100 kph in 3.5 seconds, and the top speed is 306 kph. In pure electric mode, it can drive up to 80 km (WLTP standard).
The New Continental GT S and GTC S feature the Bentley Performance Active Chassis. It comprises an active AWD system, front-rear and left-right torque distribution, and 48V Bentley Dynamic Ride. For the first time, electronic all-wheel steering and an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD) have been applied.
Through this system, the New Continental GT S and GTC S offer a new driving feel across a wide range of drive modes and conditions. Bentley Motors Korea said the cars can regain their own stability in any cornering situation.
With the launch of the New Continental GT S and GTC S, Bentley Motors Korea has completed a full lineup following the performance model "Speed," the luxury model "Mulliner," and the wellness-oriented "Azure." Bentley Motors Korea said this is to allow Korean customers to choose a grand tourer that suits their tastes and lifestyles.
The official domestic starting price for the New Continental GT S is 368.5 million won, and the New Continental GTC S starts from 404.8 million won.
