The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises signed a business agreement on the 17th with LG CNS to discover a large-small coexistence cooperation model to spread AI among small and mid-size businesses.

The agreement was prepared to align with the government's policy to expand small business AX (AI transformation), reduce the AI utilization gap between large and small companies, and boost the digital competitiveness of small businesses. Backed by support from LG CNS, it aims to strengthen the AI and digital capabilities of small and mid-size businesses and small business cooperatives.

LG CNS will invest about 2 billion won annually and provide support in three areas: education, technology, and distribution/marketing.

In education, it will offer AI and AX training and consulting for small business executives. Through programs held at the LG CNS Magok training center, it plans to support AI adoption and AX strategy development. In technology, it will link with government-funded projects to build leading AX models for small manufacturers. LG CNS will contribute cash and in-kind support such as technology and talent to drive innovation on factory floors.

In distribution and marketing, it will use LG CNS's AI marketing solution to support 100 small companies over two years in entering global distribution platforms and strengthening digital marketing capabilities. It will support onboarding to overseas platforms such as Amazon and advertising on domestic shopping platforms.

Kim Ki-moon, head of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises, said, "We expect that the manufacturing and industrial site data held by the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises, combined with LG CNS's AI technology, will lead to tangible AI transformation results," adding, "We will actively support the settlement of a large-small coexistence AX model in small business sites."
