Daehong Communications said on the 16th that it won silver at the 2026 New York Festivals, one of the world's three major advertising awards, for its "A.I.ways Call" campaign with Lotte Medical Foundation Bobath Memorial Hospital.
"A.I.ways Call" is a campaign that uses Generative AI technology to support emotional communication between dementia patients and their families. After learning a caregiver's voice and conversational habits, the AI applied them to calls with the patient to naturally reproduce the family's distinctive tone, forms of address, and conversation topics. Through this, it suggested the potential to stabilize dementia patients emotionally and ease the caregiving burden on families.
The campaign drew attention to Korea's social issues of caregiver-centered care culture and caregiving burden and was credited with presenting a new solution by combining AI technology. In particular, it won silver in "THE FUTURE NOW," which evaluates technology-based innovative ideas and future-oriented experiences.
With this award, Daehong Communications followed up its CLIO Awards recognition with a win at the New York Festivals, continuing its performance at global advertising festivals.
A Daehong Communications official said, "We find it meaningful to have received favorable evaluations at the New York Festivals following the CLIO Awards," adding, "We plan to continue expanding our presence beyond the domestic market to the global stage, based on Daehong Communications' unique differentiation."
The New York Festivals is considered one of the world's three major advertising awards along with Cannes Lions in France and the CLIO Awards in the United States. Each year, it selects outstanding works by evaluating creativity, innovation, and execution among entries from more than 60 countries worldwide.
