Kia said on the 15th it launched the new lineup of the large RV (recreational vehicle), "the Kia Carnival High Roof," and opened orders.
The Carnival High Roof is a model that enhances the sense of space by applying a high roof to the base Carnival model, offering the spaciousness cited as a strength of the existing Carnival Hi-Limousine while broadening choices at a reasonable price.
The Carnival High Roof secures durability and safety by applying the same steel roof material as the existing Carnival Hi-Limousine. With an overall height raised 270 mm compared with the base Carnival, it provides a generous interior environment for all passengers.
The exterior of the high roof applies chrome molding that emphasizes horizontal lines and a large light-emitting diode (LED) auxiliary brake lamp at the rear, adding a premium look while also improving rear visibility.
Inside, suede material creates a lounge-like atmosphere, and rear-seat LED reading lights enhance passenger convenience. The powertrain comes in two options: 3.5 gasoline and 1.6 turbo hybrid. Exterior colors are Aurora Black Pearl and Snow White Pearl, and the interior color is Cotton Beige.
Kia will first launch the nine-seat model of the Carnival High Roof and then sequentially roll out the seven-seat model in the second half. Prices are 52.11 million won for the 3.5 gasoline Noblesse model and 55.66 million won for the Signature model. The 1.6 turbo hybrid Noblesse model is 56.66 million won, and the Signature model is 60.21 million won.
A Kia official said, "The Kia Carnival High Roof is a new lineup designed to experience the overwhelming spatial value unique to the Hi-Limousine more reasonably," adding, "We will continue to expand choices tailored to customers' diverse lifestyles and travel needs and keep delivering the Carnival's differentiated product appeal."
