Hyundai Motor said on the 15th that it has added a "360-day plan" for electric vehicles to its vehicle subscription service "Hyundai Genesis Selection."
The 360-day plan adds to Hyundai Genesis Selection's basic terms—no penalty fees, no fixed contract period, and no upfront payment—and improves price competitiveness with discounted rates compared with the existing 30-day short-term subscription.
The program covers four of Hyundai Motor's main electric vehicles: ▲ Ioniq 5 ▲ Ioniq 6 ▲ Kona Electric ▲ Ioniq 5 N. These models are configured as high-spec, full-option vehicles that are hard to experience with standard rental cars.
For the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6, the 360-day plan offers a discount of up to 140,000 won per month compared with the 30-day subscription, and the Kona Electric offers a discount of up to 50,000 won per month. The high-performance electric Ioniq 5 N is available for 1.39 million won per month, reflecting a 300,000 won monthly discount compared with the 30-day subscription. Detailed rates may vary depending on vehicle specifications.
Customers using the 360-day plan can receive connected services on par with actually owning a vehicle. Connected features such as remote vehicle control and digital key had previously been provided only to customers who purchased a vehicle and completed owner verification.
A Hyundai Motor official said, "The 360-day plan is a specialized product designed to let customers experience electric vehicles over a long period without burden, build trust, and then naturally purchase an electric vehicle," adding, "We will continue to provide more flexible and differentiated mobility experiences from the customer's perspective."
