Agricultural machinery corporations TYM Co. said on the 11th that it published the "TYM sustainability report 2025," which includes last year's business performance and future strategies.
TYM Co. has been publishing sustainability reports from 2021 through this year. The latest report covers sustainability activities and results across the economic, social, and environmental fields. To enhance the objectivity and reliability of the information, it underwent third-party verification.
During the report drafting process, a double materiality assessment was conducted in accordance with the overseas disclosure standard "GRI Standards 2021." Through this, the impacts of corporations' activities on society and the environment and the financial impacts were analyzed, and seven key elements were selected: ▲ customer satisfaction ▲ sustainable products ▲ supply chain sustainability ▲ quality management ▲ response to climate change ▲ technological innovation ▲ ethics and compliance management. The report also includes the implementation status and key results for each element.
In the environmental institutional sector, it introduced the advancement of the environmental management system for responding to climate change and realizing a circular economy, and the development and launch results of eco-friendly tractors. In the social institutional sector, it presented as case examples community co-prosperity activities such as donating tractors to young return-to-farm farmers and retired employees who returned to farming.
In the governance institutional sector, it included content on autonomously operating an audit committee composed entirely of outside directors, strengthening management transparency and a responsible management system.
A TYM Co. official said, "The sustainability report is a key communication channel through which TYM shares the direction and current practices of sustainability management with stakeholders," adding, "We will continue to internalize sustainability management companywide and translate it into measurable results."
