Hyundai Motor on the 9th released the 2027 Ioniq 5, a model-year update of the electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) Ioniq 5.
Hyundai Motor revamped the trim lineup with this model-year change and secured price competitiveness. The long-range model will be offered as E-Lite, Modern, Premium, Inspiration, and N Line. The standard model is a single E-Value+ trim.
Hyundai Motor added some features from the previous Exclusive trim to the new Ioniq 5's Modern trim and cut the price by 1.6 million won. For the Premium trim, it optimized features from the previous Prestige trim and reduced the price by 900,000 won.
Inspiration is a new trim. Parking Assist, including Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, and Comfort Plus—consisting of a power passenger seat and a memory system for all seats—are standard. In addition, Hyundai Motor added a tailgate emergency lamp to all trims of the new Ioniq 5 and, starting with the Premium trim, made a 100W USB charging port standard to strengthen the package.
Prices for the new Ioniq 5 (including tax benefits) are 47.35 million won for the Standard E-Value Plus, 50.64 million won for the Long-range E-Lite, 58.25 million won for the Modern, 58.25 million won for the Premium, 61.5 million won for the Inspiration, and 59.45 million won for the N Line. In Seoul, considering government and local subsidies, buyers are expected to be able to purchase the 2027 Ioniq 5 Long-range Modern trim in the mid-45 million won range.
